Sankofa Place
On February 20, the Southbridge community witnessed the Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Groundbreaking on Sankofa Place. This magnificent housing project consists of five new beautifully appointed affordable-for sale homes. The Southbridge Community Development Corporation is a Habitat for Humanity partner in the project. The development is made possible through the support of key funding partners including Congressional Directed Spending, City of Wilmington HOME and ARPA funds, Energize Delaware, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and DSHA’S Catalyst Fund.

Roofs From the Heart
Roofs from the Heart’s mission is to provide quality new roofs to those who cannot maintain that basic provision of safe and secure shelter. We believe that replacing a failing roofing system for eligible homeowners addresses their immediate housing needs. For more information, contact us here.
