Job Title: Community Energy Ambassador

The Energy Ambassador Program is a community-driven initiative aimed at enhancing the environmental sustainability and energy efficiency of properties within the Southbridge community. Through personalized assistance and advocacy, we strive to empower residents with resources to improve their homes and reduce energy costs.

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Energy Ambassadors for the Southbridge community. Energy Ambassadors will play a crucial role in identifying and assisting residents in accessing energy assistance programs and services.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and provide personalized energy assistance services to Southbridge residents by scheduling Home Energy Consultations (HECs)

• Assist residents in navigating application processes for energy assistance programs

• Coordinate the delivery of energy services to improve home efficiency and the environment

• Act as a liaison between the community, energy agencies, and other stakeholders

• Provide education and assistance to residents in accessing eligible energy programs

• Attend mandatory training sessions

• Maintain detailed records of interactions with homeowners/residents

• Prepare and submit weekly activity reports

General Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18

• Two forms of identification

• High school diploma/GED certificate or college transcripts

• Must attend program orientation and complete training program

General Skills and Requirements:

• Sound judgment in decision-making

• Strong emotional intelligence and exceptional customer service skills

• Proficiency in Google Suites/Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong organizational abilities

• Proficient time management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Attention to detail

• Willingness to learn project management tools and other software

Compensation:

Paid Training @ $18.00 per hour

Full time pay starts at $25.00 per hour
